Project overview
The main objective of this project is to minimize the threat of explosive ordnance to communities most at risk in the Chocó, Nariño, and Valle del Cauca departments of Colombia. This UNOPS project mostly provides Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE) and coordination of mine action in emergency situations. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 3,065 people, including 1,052 women, 1,014 men, and 999 children. 400 people with disabilities also benefit from this project.
