Project overview
The main objective of this project is to promote Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) by establishing three collective feedback and complaints mechanisms that serve the overall humanitarian community in Bria, Bambari et Kaga-Bandoro. This UNICEF-managed collective AAP project enables affected communities to 1) have harmonized access to communication channels to ensure their feedback reaches humanitarian actors; 2) have their opinions systematically heard through community mechanisms over which they have full control; 3) partake in and manage income-generating activities to operate the feedback mechanisms. The project enables accountability to affected communities in the target areas of Bria, Bambari et Kaga-Bandoro and will reach 45,897 people, including 12,851 women, 21,112 children and including 8,095 people with disabilities. This project is part of the special thematic allocation for Accountability to Affected People (AAP) under the 2023 round 2 of the underfunded emergencies (UFE) allocations.
