Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide protection assistance to affected communities and people in Centre-North, East, North, Sahel, and Boucle du Mouhoun regions of Burkina Faso. This UNHCR project improves access to inter-agency mechanisms for reporting and handling community complaints, by and for affected communities via mobile telephones and Community Complaints Committees. The project targets 540,000 people, including 87,060 women, 261,838 men, 191102 children, and 81,000 persons with disabilities with protection activities. This project is part of the special thematic allocation for Accountability to Affected People (AAP) under the 2023 round 2 of the underfunded emergencies (UFE) allocations.
