Project overview

The main objective of this project was to provide water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), protection and nutrition assistance to vulnerable communities affected by conflict-related displacement in Ouahigouya, Boulsa, Kongoussi, and Bogande. This UNICEF project provided displaced people and people living in host communities with access to quality drinking water by constructing and rehabilitating new water supply points and managing acute malnutrition cases. The project provided WASH assistance to a total of 31,400 people, of whom 11,434 are women, 4,848 are men, and 15,153 are children. 250 persons with disabilities will also benefit from this project. 28,840 and 20,483 people were reached targeted through protection and nutrition sectors respectively.
