Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), protection and nutrition assistance to vulnerable communities affected by conflict-related displacement in Ouahigouya, Boulsa, Kongoussi, and Bogande. This UNICEF project provides displaced people and people living in host communities with access to quality drinking water by constructing and rehabilitating new water supply points and managing acute malnutrition cases. The project provides WASH assistance to a total of 17,500 people, of whom 3,999 are women, 3,238 are men, and 7,078 are children. 940 persons with disabilities will also benefit from this project. 12,500 and 19,272 people are targeted through protection and nutrition sectors respectively.
