Project overview
The main objective of this IOM project is to contribute to addressing shelter needs of vulnerable families affected by natural hazards or conflict in Badakhshan province through provision of cash for shelter upgrades. This project provides needs and market feasibility assessments, technical guidance, and refresher training in shelter maintenance and repair to affected people in Badakhshan, among other activities. The project provides life-saving assistance to 8,600 people, including 1,700 women, 1,700 men and 5,200 children.
