Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide emergency water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion (WASH) support to 20,000 people in the provinces of Shefa and Tafea in Vanuatu impacted by tropical cyclones Judy and Kevin. UNICEF's key activities include ensuring access to sufficient and safe water for drinking, cooking, and personal hygiene, distributing critical WASH supplies and hygiene kits, providing WASH and hygiene messaging, and offering menstrual hygiene management kits and dignity kits. The project aims to provide life-saving assistance to 20,000 people, including 4,000 men, 4,000 women, 12,000 children, and including 1,000 persons with disabilities.
