Project overview

This UNICEF project provided water, sanitation and hygiene and nutrition assistance to host communities, refugees and returnees in Wadi Fira, Biltine, Dar Tama, Iriba, Megri, Sila, Djourf Al Ahmar, Kimiti, Ouaddaand, Abdi, Assoungha, Ouara. The water, sanitation and hygiene component of the project provides humanitarian assistance to almost 60,000 people, including over 12,000 women, 36,000 children, and including 9,000 persons with disabilities. The nutrition component of the project provides humanitarian assistance to almost 464,000 people, including over 125,000 women and almost 310,000 children.
