Project overview
WHO is providing core emergency health interventions to reduce avoidable morbidity and mortality among populations in affected areas through the following outputs: 1) Maintain the surveillance system functionality (EWARN), deployment of rapid response teams, and strengthen health facilities’ WASH-related activities; 2) Sustain access to essential primary and secondary health care services and ensure continuity of care, with specific focus on services for people affected or disabled by the earthquake; 3) Assessment and rehabilitation of critical infrastructure and equipment in health facilities within the integrated health service delivery networks affected by the earthquake. This project targets 898,154 affected people with Health sector activities.
