Project overview
UNFPA aims to respond to earthquake-affected populations to mitigate the risk of preventable maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality while providing gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response services; this is accomplished by ensuring availability of, access to, and utilization of integrated sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and GBV services in Idleb, Aleppo, Hama, and Lattakia governorates of Syria. This project targets 40,933 affected people with its Protection-GBV component and 36,500 with its Health-SRH component.
