Emergency health assistance to South Sudanese returnees and refugees affected by the Sudan crisis in Unity, Upper Nile, and Greater Bahr el Ghazal states (23-RR-WHO-036)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide health assistance to vulnerable people in South Sudan fleeing fighting in Sudan. This WHO project provides emergency health kits to health facilities, medicines, provide refresher training for health care workers and supports disease outbreak surveillance at Point of Entry and transit centres. This project provides humanitarian assistance to 185,000 people, including 52,258 women, 78,349 children and including 4,251 persons with disabilities.
