Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide Nutrition and WASH assistance to people fleeing the conflict in Sudan into South Sudan. This UNICEF project provides access to safe and clean water, constructs latrines, distributes WASH supplies, screens and treats children suffering from severe malnutrition, and provides counselling on optimal breastfeeding. The project provides life-saving assistance to 51,000 people in the WASH sector and 3,000 people in the Nutrition sector.
