Project overview
Through this project, WHO provides health services to 160,600 internally displaced people at points of entry at Halfa, Argeen, Algabalin, and Port Sudan, in addition to IDPs at the gathering points. This allocation allows WHO to provide lifesaving support through displaced medical cadres within the targeted geography and indirectly through proposed medical teams with incentives that will cover gaps in their salaries. Further, the support reduces the burden on the overstretched hospitals with high caseloads through emergency medical teams who work on mobile forms.
