Project overview
This project focuses on deployment of critical security assets to enhance safe conduct of humanitarian operations in Sudan. The assets, six armoured vehicles, are used to rebuild the UNDSS security structure in the field, conduct security assessments, joint missions, and extraction of humanitarian personnel which will facilitate rapid security risk management analysis in areas identified as high priorities for humanitarian operations, provide increased analytical and operational capability, crisis readiness and operational support for the scaled-up humanitarian operations across Sudan.
