Project overview
This project provides displaced people in camps in Mulanje, Phalombe, and Blantyre with cash for shelter and core relief items to support their basic needs. After profiling people and carrying out market assessments to validate existing market data, UNHCR distributes cash to people and undertakes post-distribution monitoring. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 20,000 people, including 6,000 women, 3,000 men, 11,000 children, and including 180 persons with disabilities.
