Project overview
This project strengthens timely detection and response to cholera, acute watery diarrhea, and dysentery and ensures the provision of basic health services to affected people in provinces affected by flooding and Cyclone Freddy in Mozambique. WHO provides refresher training for health workers on comprehensive primary health care, supports mobile health brigade to provide basic health services, procures and distribute cholera kits, supports epidemiological surveillance, and procures and distributes Interagency Emergency Health Kit (IEHK). The project targets 162,00 people, including 62,715 women, 59,481 men, 39,804 children, and including 5,040 persons with disabilities.
