Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide food assistance in southern and central Mozambique in response to Tropical Cyclone Freddy. WFP provides cash-based food assistance over a period of three months, up to the second harvest period in July, so as to avoid a further deterioration in food security. With CERF funds, the project targets 4,530 households or 22,650 people, including 5,323 women, 4,666 men, 12,661 children, and including 589 persons with disabilities.
