Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide lifesaving assistance to displaced people affected by the cyclone, enabling them to meet their basic needs and enhance access to protection services and shelter assistance. This UNHCR project provides protection services such as legal aid and support for civil documentation, protection monitoring activities, as well as provision of emergency shelters, in-kind NFI assistance, and sector-specific unconditional cash transfers among other activities. The project provides life-saving assistance to 157,250 people, including 51,892 women, 48,748 men, 26,733 children, and including 23,587 persons with disabilities.
