Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide lifesaving anticipatory agricultural food security assistance to vulnerable people affected and at risk of drought-induced food insecurity exacerbated by the forecasted impacts of El Niño. This FAO project provides agricultural and livestock inputs (including drought-resistant seeds) as well as trainings on climate-smart agricultural practices. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 45,000 people, including 8,100 men, 9,900 women, 27,000 children, and including 2,700 persons with disabilities.
