Project overview
In the aftermath of the earthquake that hit the Khoy province on 28 January 2023, people were forced leave their homes, leaving normal life and livelihoods disrupted. Women face longer distances for accessing their usual maternal health services and struggle in preserving their dignity as they had to leave everything in their damaged/destroyed houses behind and face limited financial possibility of buying/replacing necessary items due to disrupted livelihoods. This project targets 1,300 affected people with Health engagement and 10,000 with Protection (GBV) activities.
