Project overview
The UNHCR project provides an emergency multi-sector rapid response for flooding in Dollo Ado and Bokolmayo. The project provides one-time cash-for-protection to 3,185 vulnerable households (22,295 individuals at ETB 7,700 per household), reconstructing 450 shelters for displaced communities, and rehabilitating five water pump houses for clean water access. The project also decommissions 100 damaged communal latrines, reducing waterborne disease risks through community mobilization. The project delivers life-saving assistance to a total of 361,615 individuals, including 79,555 women, 61,475 men, and 220,585 children. An estimated 26,071 people with disabilities benefit from this project.
