Provision of humanitarian supplies to support critical live-saving GBV and SRH emergency services to vulnerable populations affected by flood in Somali and Oromia regions (23-RR-FPA-061)

Project overview

The UNFPA project aims to provide emergency gender-based violence prevention and response, and sexual & reproductive health services to vulnerable people affected by floods in Somali and Oromia regions. UNFPA and its partners will equip health facilities with life-saving Interagency Reproductive Health Kits, conduct on-site orientation on the proper utilization of the IARH kits and the components of female dignity kits, provide female dignity kits to the most vulnerable women and girls of reproductive age, and conduct post-distribution monitoring. The project delivers life-saving assistance to a total of 27,847 people, including 12,149 women, 16,759 men, and 44,691 children. An estimated 11,967 people with disabilities benefit from this project.
