Targeted Supplementary Feeding (23-RR-WFP-057)

Project overview

The primary objective of this initiative is to deliver targeted Supplementary Feeding to address wasting in children aged 6 to 59 months and pregnant and breastfeeding women (PBW) within crisis-affected woredas of the Amhara region. The allocated resource from WFP provides Screening services to manage moderate acute malnutrition, Case Management for malnourished children and PBW, and Supply Management of Specialized Nutritious Foods (SNFs). This allocation addresses the needs of over 6,700 moderately wasted children aged 6 to 59 months and 4,444 pregnant and breastfeeding women (PBW) in crisis-affected woredas of the Amhara region, including 561 individuals with disabilities
