Project overview
The key objective of this project is supporting Egypt’s emergency health response caused by the Sudan crisis, to promote early action and response to reduce loss of life and morbidity. This is achieved by enhancing the disease surveillance system, and early detection of communicable diseases by providing rapid diagnostic kits for potential outbreaks, strengthening the rapid response of the Egyptian health care system to be able to respond effectively and timely to the sudden evolving needs of the displaced Sudanese population while ensuring equality and accessibility for all. The project targets 189,522 refugees and host community members with activities in the Health sector.
