The main objective of this project was to reinforce protection from violence, abuse and exploitation for children among returnees from Sudan, internally displaced people and host communities in the northeast of the Central African Republic. This UNICEF project provided protection services to 5,335 children in child-friendly spaces, provided specialized protection assistance - such as family reunification or case management - and supported survivors of rape and other sexual violence, among other activities.
