Project overview
WFP's project responds to the urgent needs of over 100,600 refugees arriving in Armenia, focusing on providing food assistance. The project delivers hot meals and food parcels, benefiting approximately 31,600 refugees for two months, easing their immediate food requirements. Food parcels contain essential items, covering 20% of one refugee's monthly food needs. Hot meals, including meat, cereals, dairy products, and fresh produce, provide 100% of kilocalorie needs. WFP collaborates with a local NGO to supply hot meals to refugees residing in sheltered institutions, aiming to address food needs and facilitate their transition into the winter months.
