Project overview
UNDP's project aims to provide an immediate response to the refugee crisis in Armenia, focusing on shelter and essential living conditions for the most vulnerable refugee populations. The project coordinates efforts with various partners, including the Government of Armenia, to ensure safety, dignity, and human rights fulfillment for approximately 500 refugees living in substandard conditions. Activities involve renovating public buildings for shelter, prioritizing hygiene, sanitation, safety, accessibility, and gender sensitivity, aligned with national construction norms. The project leverages UNDP's expertise and experience to deliver timely and effective support.
