Project overview
The main objective of this project is to address the maternal and reproductive health needs of reproductive-age women, particularly pregnant women, and to provide gender-based violence response and psychosocial support services for Afghan returnees. This UNFPA project provides psychosocial support services through the establishment of one Women-Friendly Health Space (WFHS) and deploy psychosocial support teams. The project also includes the procurem.nt and distribution of Dignity Kits for vulnerable women and adolescent girls consisting of hygiene supplies such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, and sanitary pads. The project provides life-saving assistance to 20,006 people, including 9,036 women, 3,800 men, 7,170 children, and 2,801 persons with disabilities.
