Life-saving WASH and child protection services for returnees (23-RR-CEF-072)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to contribute to the reduction of WASH-related morbidity and mortality through the provision of safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services and improved access to life-saving child protection services. This CEF project provides activities such as providing safe water through water trucking and emergency repair of existing water supply schemes, installing and operating temporary and emergency sanitation facilities (latrines, bathing facilities), and offering cleaning, desludging, and spraying services for solid/garbage collection and disposal, among others. The project provides life-saving assistance to 50,000 people, including 11,500 women, 11,500 men, 30,500 children, and 2,675 persons with disabilities.
