Provision of life-saving and life-sustaining PHC, Trauma and Secondary healthcare services in under-served Syrian subdistricts – a Whole of Syria Proposal (22-UF-WHO-015)

Project overview

This WHO project aims to sustain access to quality integrated primary and secondary health care services for vulnerable populations in northeast and northwest Syria, and ensure live-saving case management supplies and laboratory reagents. While priority activities are different for the geographical areas, all are expected to directly impact the improvement of the health and well-being of populations in the targeted areas. The project provides life-saving primary health care services in the northwest, Covid-19 management in Syria including the Damascus area, and sustained access to specialized trauma and secondary health care services in both areas. This Health project directly targets 751,008 affected people.
