Emergency response to public health events related to drought in Somaliland, Jubaland and Puntland states (21-RR-WHO-011)

Project overview

WHO is using $1 million in CERF funding to reach an estimated 122,802 people, including 33,771 women and 27,630 girls. WHO is deploying 49 health workers as part of district-based Rapid Response teams, and collecting an estimated 400 samples of cholera, measles and other epidemic-prone diseases, deploying 780 community health workers, and reaching 33,200 people with risk communication. WHO is also conducting supervision of health facilities and stabilization centers.
