Provision of Life-Saving Nutrition and WASH Services to emergency-affected vulnerable populations (21-RR-CEF-011)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide essential nutrition and water, sanitation and hygiene services to children, women and communities affected by conflict, drought and the impact of COVID-19. This UNICEF project 1) distributes therapeutic supplies to people with severe acute malnutrition (SAM), 2) provides hygiene supplies and 3) installs emergency sanitation facilities, among other activities. The project provides humanitarian assistance to 80,000 people, including 21,700 women, 22,900 men, 35,400 children, and including 3,400 people with disabilities.
