Identification and redressal of GBV in refugee and host populations through community-based mechanisms (20-UF-WOM-003)

The main objective of this project is to address life-saving needs of survivors of gender-based violence (GBV) in COVID 19-affected areas and to provide livelihood support. This UN-WOMEN project supports 25 community outreach groups, provides awareness-raising sessions, GBV counselling sessions to refugee and host populations, dignity kits to 2,500 women, and 160 care packages and dignity kits to people with disabilities. The project provides life-saving assistance to 16,000 people, including 6,000 women, 2,000 men, 8,000 children, and 320 people with disabilities.
