Provision of Nutrition services for Moderately Acute malnourished children and malnourished PLW in Balochistan (20-UF-WFP-042)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide safe, lifesaving nutrition services for treatment of children and pregnant and lactating women suffering from Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) at health facilities and in communities. This WFP project establishes and operationalizes 38 supplementary feeding services, supplies specialized nutritious food, and builds the capacity of mother to mother and father support groups among other activities. The project provides life-saving assistance to 41,222 people, including over 15,000 women and over 25,000 children. This includes more that 5,000 people with disabilities.
