Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide multi-sectoral refugee, and general protection assistance to displaced people in Niger. This UNHCR project provides increased access to drinking water for 18,213 new refugee arrivals in the Sayam Forage camp to by installing 3 standpipes; constructing 200 family latrines and 15 community latrines; as well as strengthening of the general management of the camp. The project further ensures the registration of 110,000 IDPs and refugees, as well as protection response for 3,000 people. A total of 227,807 people will be targeted with assistance, including some 3,000 people with disabilities.
