Project overview

The main objective of this project is to strengthen mechanisms for prevention and response to gender-based violence. This UNFPA project ensures, among other things, 25 centers providing care for GBV survivors adapted to their needs; psychological and mental health care for 2,600 GBV survivors; medical and legal support to 850 and 250 GBV survivors, respectively; and dignity kits to 15,000 women and girls. A total of 60,150 people, including 1,048 with disabilities, will be targeted with assistance, including 6,600 men, 21,875 women, 9,050 boys and 22,625 girls.
