Project overview

The main objective of this IOM project is to strengthen livelihoods and food security of the drought affected people of Bassikounou department. With this CERF grant, IOM will provide 400 goats, fodder and veterinary care to 8,500 livestock and will build 2 animal and human water points. The project covers food security/Agriculture and WASH sector and will last nine months. It will benefit 45,000 persons including 2,000 girls, 19,950 women and 150 people with disabilities for the WASH sector and 8,500 people including 4,200 women for the food security sector.
