Project overview

The main objective of this UNFPA project is to provide quality reproductive health services and to ensure GBV survivors’ access to life-saving services in the drought affected districts in Mauritania, including the Malia refugees from Mbera Camp. With this CERF grant, UNFPA will mainly provide 3,000 dignity kits, 13 post-rape kits and 25 delivery kits. The project covers Health and Protection (GBV) sectors and will last nine months. It will benefit 17,870 persons including 4,500 girls, 11,720 women and 70 persons with disabilities for the Health sector, and 7,800 persons including 5,500 girls and 150 women for the Protection sector.
