Protection life-saving services, NFI assistance and community engagement and accountability to affected populations in Cabo Delgado (20-UF-HCR-026)

Project overview

The main objective of this UNHCR project is to collect and analyze life-saving protection data, implement individual counselling and community-based protection activities, distribute NFIs, and work with communities on CCCM in Cabo Delgado. With this CERF grant, UNHCR will mainly provide 2,000 Emergency Shelter and NFI kits, collect protection data on vulnerable groups, set up 15 community protection centers and provide 1,500 protection awareness sessions. The project covers Protection, Emergency Shelter/NFI and CCCM sectors and will last 12 months. It will benefit 130,000 people in Protection sector (including 7,500 women, 7,500 girls and 2,000 people with disabilities), 10,000 people in Emergency Shelter/NFI sector and 154,792 people in CCCM sector.
