Emergency support to displaced and hosting populations in Cabo Delgado Province in Mozambique (20-UF-CEF-049)

Project overview

The main objective of this UNICEF project is to increase access to life-saving basic services to people displaced by conflict and those hosting them in Cabo del Gado. With this CERF grant, UNICEF provides 5,000 water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) kits, 15,000 water disinfectant bottles, 10,897 education kits, 500 personal hygiene kits, 30,000 mosquito nets, and 686 PPE kits. The project covers the WASH, Education, Health and Child Protection sectors and has a duration of 12 months. It will benefit 120,000 people in child protection, 16,965 people in the education sector, 83,000 people in health and 37,500 people in the WASH sector.
