Restauration des moyens d’existence de 4,000 ménages vulnérables affectés par la crise socio-économique et l’insécurité (20-UF-FAO-031)

Project overview

The main objective of this FAO project is to improve food and nutrition security of vulnerable population living in urban and peri-urban areas of Port au Prince. With this CERF grant, FAO will mainly provide 2,000 agriculture kits (0,1 kg vegetable seeds, 5 cultivation bags, 20 kgs manure, 1 watering can); 1,000 home chicken raising kits (9 hens, 1 cock, 50 kg animal feeding); 2,000 rain water collection tanks and cash for work for 1,000 people. The project covers Agriculture sector and will last 12 months. It will benefit 20,000 persons including 6,400 women, 6,240 girls and 600 people with disabilities.
