Renforcement de la prise en charge des urgences obstétricales dans les départements du Nord-Ouest et la Grand’Anse (20-UF-WHO-012)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to reduce preventable maternal and neonatal deaths by improving the health of women and mothers in nine municipalities in the departments of Grand ’Anse and North-West. This WHO project provides, among other services, appropriate and continuous obstetric follow-up for 9,943 women, including 700 women and adolescents, throughout the duration of their pregnancy; strengthens 55 health institutions for the control of post-delivery hemorrhage; and maintenance of 11 ambulances.
