Assistance alimentaire d’urgence aux ménages en situation d’insécurité alimentaire (IPC 3 et 4) dans le département du Nord-Ouest d’Haiti. (20-UF-WFP-013)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to improve food security and meet basic nutritional needs of households in IPC phase 4 and 3, respectively, with a focus on pregnant and lactating women, children aged 6-59 months, and people with disabilities. This WFP project provides emergency food assistance through unconditional cash transfers to 12,830 people; screening of 1,540 children aged 6-59 months and referral of MAM and SAM cases to health centers; and ensure nutrition awareness sessions for 7,698 people. A total of 12,830 people, of which 514 with disabilities, will be targeted with assistance, including 3,794 men, 3,814 women, 2,605 boys and 2,617 girls.
