Project overview
The main objective of this project is to improve the health institutions in the targeted areas to allow for continuous and quality care of women of reproductive age and particularly pregnant women and survivors of gender-based violence. This UNFPA project provides the supply of care in 11 health institutions with Basic Obstetric and Neonatal Emergency Care, Basic Emergency Obstetric and Neonatal Care; provision of sexual and reproductive health services and management of gender-based violence for 6,758 people at risk and survivors of GBV; capacity building sessions for 4,000 people from the creation and management of small and medium-sized enterprises and economic support; and distribution of 4,000 dignity kits as well as 500 kits for the most vulnerable pregnant women. A total of 46,758 people will be reached with Protection/GBV services while 137,541 will be targeted with Health assistance.
