Project overview
The main objective of this project is to improve the livelihoods of 13,500 vulnerable households affected in the departments of North-West and Grande’Anse. This FAO project provides seeds and material for planting climate-resilient crops to 7,000 vulnerable HHs, including 10 kg of legume seeds, 5 kg of cereals, 300 cassava cuttings and 500 potato cuttings sweet for 3,000 HHs as well as cash vouchers for seeds purchase for 4,000 HHs; technical support and agricultural tools to 4,000 HHs; and distribution of 3,000 goats to 1,000 female-led HHs. The project provides life-saving assistance to 67,500 people, of which 2,025 people with disabilities, including 13,500 men, 13,500 women, 19,440 boys and 21,060 girls.
