Providing life-saving food assistance and restore food security of victims of the internal conflict and COVID-affected ethnic groups in Chocó, Nariño and Amazonas regions (20-UF-WFP-046)

Project overview

The aim of this $889,521 WFP project is to ensure food security through food assistance and early recovery actions to victims of the internal conflict and COVID-affected indigenous populations. To that end, WFP will procure and distribute 314 metric tons of food (cereals, pulses and oils), cash and vouchers worth $379,315 for 4,150 people and training for livelihood restoring for 500 people. In total, WFP plans to reach 15,868 people, of whom 3,788 women and 4,716 girls and including 477 persons with disabilities.
