Access to life-saving sexual and reproductive health services and access to services for survivors of Gender Based Violence for vulnerable, ethnic populations (20-UF-FPA-037)

Project overview

This $947,445 project by UNFPA aims to provide access to life–saving sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services and to safe, confidential and timely Gender Based Violence (GBV) services. Activities include provision of psychosocial support to 1,400 women and girls, cash for 240 women and girls and post rape kits for 15 health facilities, among others. UNFPA will also train 60 health workers and 140 birth attendants in SRH; and 60 first line responders and 75 female community leaders on GBV. In total, UNFPA aims to reach 7,589 people with GBV services (of whom 174 persons with disabilities) and 8,928 people with SRH services (of whom 151 persons with disabilities).
