Assistance Multi-sectorielle en faveur des réfugiés Sud-Soudanais et Burundais (20-UF-HCR-016)

Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving multi-sectoral assistance to refugees from Burundi (in Fizi and Uvira) and from South Sudan (in Aru). This UNHCR project reinforces community-based protection mechanisms, provides cash to vulernable households to construct latrines and shelters, drills boreholes, raises awareness about sexual- and gender-based violence, provides psychosocial support to SGBV survivors, and distribute hygiene kits, rehabilitates school classrooms, and supports refugee health centres. The project provides life-saving assistance to 83,118 people, including 20,205 women, 44,368 children, and 9,975 people with disabilities.
