Project overview
The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving shelter, essential household item, and camo coordination and management assistance to internally displaced people and host communities. This UNHCR project constructs temporary shelters, provides cash to vulnerable families to construct temporary shelters, provides cash to procure essential household items, and supports committees to monitor the provision of services to internally displaced persons in camps. The camp coordination and management component of the project provides life-saving assistance to 18,000 people, including 4,100 women, 3,000 men, 10,800 children, and 115 people with disabilities. The shelter and essential household item assistance component provides life-saving assistance to 5,000 people, including 1,100 women, 900 men, 3,000 children, and 260 persons with disabilities.
