Project overview

The main objective of this project is to provide life-saving gender-based violence protection assistance to internally displaced people and host communities. This UNFPA project establishes and equips 20 safe and secure spaces for women and girls, provides essential medical equipment for the clinical management of rape, distributes dignity kits, supports survivors of gender-based survivors including through cash transfers, and facilities the collection of data on the incidence of gender-based violence. The project provides life-saving assistance to 6,000 people, including 3,600 women, 300 men, 2,100 children, and 120 people with disabilities.
