Strengthening Emergency Health Response in 9 Priority Drought Affected Districts (20-RR-FPA-007)

Project overview

The main objective of this UNFPA project is to increase access to emergency obstetric care and other maternal health services to pregnant women in the 9 most drought-affected districts of Zimbabwe. With this CERF grant, UNFPA provides 210 emergency and clean delivery kits, 32 emergency referral kits, 100 anti-shock garments kits, 32 kits with drugs for sexually transmitted infections and 100 midwifery kits. The project 44,193 women, including 1,345 women with disabilities.
